The art work in my Art Portfolio was submitted because it has life and character. My father was always a big inspiration to me when I was a child. He loved vibrant and bold colors and loved to share his gift of being artistic with others. He was always positive and encouraged me to pursue my dreams. As an artist my artwork means a lot to me. It reminds me to never give up. My father was in and out of the hospital through my childhood. But he never lost hope and always had a smile on his face. He inspired me to never give up on my dreams. After my father had died I decided to become an artist and use the gift he gave me and share it with others. The pieces I decided to submit are thrilling and inspired by father. They are bright just like my father’s personality. I wanted to make most of my artwork colorful and full of joy because my father had big impact on my life. Not only do I want it to be my father’s inspiration I also want my input on the artwork. My father is the motivation for my artwork. His objective was to make people happy with his work. I would like to follow in my father’s footsteps and inspire others to be happy and make the best of their lives. My wish is for others to go back to a time of happiness or remind them of a time of happiness with my artwork. Art plays a big role in my life because it reminds me of my childhood with my dad. I know he would be proud to know that I am going to college to study arts. Hopefully someday I will pursue my dream in being an art teacher, then I can help others share there gift of art to the world.
